Valley Of The Wretched Promotional Movie Poster
Valley Of The Wretched is a "post-apocalyptic" film that is currently being written by Bryan Duff (Beer Fang creator) and Brett Seamens of VHS 1138 in San Antonio, Tx.Set in an atomic wasteland in the distant future, 'Wretched' hopes to bring some new and creative ideas to the Dystopian/Low Budget arena. There's loads of DNA splicing going on in this radioactive valley and an imaginative array of mutants are being worked into the story.
The story will revolve around a handful of Warriors-esque wasteland tribes. The central of which is a tribe called "Juice Dogs". Who have an affinity for two-wheeled transportation and a special talent for creating drug-like substances from almost any object (including the statue-esque remains of the victims of a long ago nuclear war).
The other central tribe, known as the Mantasuckers, serve as the stories primary antagonists. They are a gruesome bunch of human/animal hybrids with a very special diet. (Hint: It's not vegan.)
"We are approaching this the same way we did with Beer Fang. DIY. Writing it ourselves, filming and editing ourselves, handling all the design aspects, and dubbing them onto VHS and distributing them. The only thing I don't want to do, myself, is act in the damn thing."
- Bryan Duff
The writers are asking if you or anyone you know is excited about being a part of a low budget film project and don't mind working for beer, then you should email them.
